Josh Gad

Joshua Gad (born February 23, 1981) is an American film, television and stage actor who was in the television series Back to You in the role of Ryan Church. The show premiered in September 2007 co-starring Emmy Award-winners Patricia Heaton of Everybody Loves Raymond and Kelsey Grammer of Frasier and Cheers. The show was cancelled after the first season, which was shortened in the aftermath of the 2007–2008 Writers Guild of America strike . Gad has also guest starred in an episode of ER and is working on films like The Rocker, Crossing Over and 21. He also as appeared on Broadway in the Tony Award-winning role of William Barfeé in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Josh Won the National Forensics League National Tournament Championships in Humorous Interpretation and Original Oratory in 1999. He won for Original Oratory in 1998 as well.

He graduated from University School of Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida in 1999. He then attended the Carnegie Mellon College of Fine Arts where he graduated in 2003 with a BFA in Drama.

Joshua was a high school classmate of fellow actor Seth Gabel.
