Malin Akerman

Åkerman was born in Stockholm, Sweden; her family moved to Toronto, Canada when she was two years old. Since then her family has moved back to Sweden, but Malin stayed in Canada. She lived in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario for a short while, attending Parliament Oak Primary School, and Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School. She has also lived in Toronto where she attended North Toronto Collegiate Institute and Dante Alighieri Academy.

Åkerman married Italian musician Roberto Zincone on June 20, 2007.
