Monica Potter

Early life Potter, one of four daughters, was born Monica Gregg Brokaw in Cleveland, Ohio, to an Irish American Catholic family. Her father, Paul Brokaw, was an inventor who invented the first flame-resistant car wax, and her mother, Nancy, was a secretary. During her childhood, she was a part of the St. Jerome Parish in Cleveland, and attended the local elementary school, as well as Villa Angela Catholic School for Girls, before graduating from Euclid High School. She also spent part of her early years in Arab, Alabama. Potter had wanted to be an actress since childhood, as well as a nun. Personal life Potter was married to Tom Potter from 1990 to 1998, and they have two sons. She married Daniel Christopher Allison, an orthopedic surgeon, in June 2005. Anthony Howard "Tony" Goldwyn (born May 20, 1960) is an American actor and director. He portrayed the villain Carl Bruner in Ghost, Kendall Dobbs in Designing Women and the voice of the title character of the Disney animated Tarzan and Kingdom Hearts. Personal life Goldwyn was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of Jennifer Howard and film producer Samuel Goldwyn, Jr. Goldwyn's paternal grandparents were movie mogul Samuel Goldwyn and film actress Frances Howard, while his maternal grandparents were playwright Sidney Howard and actress Clare Eames. Goldwyn attended Hamilton College in Clinton, New York, Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts (where he received his B.F.A), and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Goldwyn is married to production designer Jane Musky and the couple have two daughters.
